Release Version 1.0 is here. And here’s the surprise.
1. Folder Based Alerts! Starting Version 1.0 now you can select important BES Folders for yourself and we will sound an alert when a new email arrives in any of them! Look for “BES Messages” under Options. Please note this option is NOT ENABLED by default. Also, the tone for the alert can be set under an entry named “BES Messages” in profiles.
2. Native Integration: So let’s say you have already launched the native messages app and are reading your BIS emails. Just then a BES email arrives at your official id. And you need to view all your BES emails only - without the clutter of PIN, SMS, and personal emails. Do you exit to HomeScreen and launch BES MailBox? No. Empower BES MailBox integrates with your native app, and allows you direct access to your BES MailBox from inside the native app as well. Just click on “BES MailBox” menuitem.
3. Icon Notification: Icon change has been implemented on arrival of new emails, to give the same consistent experience of native app for BES MailBox as well.

“What?!” You ask. The title of this post is too …
Well, that’s the beauty of Empower InstaSpell.
1. Universal: Empower InstaSpell is made to be universal! That means it will do spell check for you not only in emails but also in SMS, Notes, Tasks, Memo etc. And if it works in 3rd party apps also; yahoo messenger, Gtalk, etc. etc. you know who to blame - Us! 
2. As-you-type: InstaSpell detects incorrect words as-soon-as you type them. You don’t need to type everything and then do a spell check. That is an option there if you want it. But mostly its as-you-type that will make you smile - its instantaneous! 
3. On-device: Fully on-device. Unlike server-based checking where the whole text is sent to server, InstaSpell is fully on-device. This real advantage is not that it saves my data usage on every email. The real importance of on-device spell check is for privacy reasons - both my business and personal emails stay with me.

Please install InstaSpell first and then the Dictionary. Once both are installed you will see a cute ‘abc’ icon on your HomeScreen. Open it, and click on Install button to Index the dictionary. Indexing is important to increase the lookup speed, and takes about 30 sec to complete. Once indexing is over, you will see some stats like - Word Count. Tick the Enable SpellCheck and exit.

For the last few months we have been working with BlackBerry API’s and now is the time to create something that rocks.
At present, we are trying to assemble the various parts that we have written over time into a single entity.
